'Medea' Theatre Project Heads to New York City

A local theater project has been selected to perform on the big stage of New York City.

The Medea Project has been performing at the Bruka Theatre and was recently accepted into this year's New York International Fringe Festival.

The crew will perform there later this month.

The show is based on the Greek tragedy, Medea and explores the responsibilities of mothers, women and citizens in modern society.
