CommRow is looking at expanding and rebranding.
CommRow opened last fall inside the building that used to be the Fitzgerald's Casino downtown.
CommRow features a couple eateries and a 164 foot climbing wall overlooking the Reno arch, but now they want to expand.
Dean Hanson is the General Manager of CommRow. He said they are also considering a name change.
"I think when this place opened it had no real business model, no real identity, and no really flow. We're trying to establish that and really get an identity. What comes with that is more than likely, a change with the name and that's what we're looking at right now."
Hanson said along with a name change, they will soon open more than 300 hotel rooms.
They also plan to give the area a $10 million makeover. CommRow owns a few buildings near CommRow and they want to renovate those properties and lease them out.
Hanson said they want to put restaurants in the old, Reno Masonic building as well as what used to be Vino's Bar.
They are also looking at opening an 8,ooo square foot casino inside the Primm property.
"We're putting in double digit millions to invest in the community. We want to put people to work. We want to get contractors in here, get the plumbers, the electricians, dry wall guys and then once they're finished, have a full-time staff in place."
Hanson said it might take a bit longer, but they hope to have everything open and ready to go by spring of 2013.
