Evelyn Mount Food Giveaway Friday in Paradise Park

Local philanthropist Evelyn Mount is planning another food giveaway on Friday.

She plans to give away two semi-truck loads of food, donated by Walmart.

But she says she still needs space to store donations ahead of the holidays after outgrowing her home on Cannan Street.

She's looking for a 20,000 square foot property in the Reno-Sparks area.

If you want to participate in Friday's giveaway that'll be from 1:30pm to 3:30pm at Paradise Park located at 2745 Elementary Drive in Reno.

Mount asks people not line up before 1:30.

If you plan to come bring your ID and proof of residence.
