Washoe Deputies Identify Man Killed in Cold Springs - KTVN Channel 2 - Reno Tahoe News Weather, Video -

Washoe County sheriff's detectives have identified the man killed in Cold Springs earlier this month.

Deputies say they responded to the 17,000 block of east Aspen Circle just before 3am on August 1st on a suspicious circumstances call.

Inside a home, they found 46-year-old Glenn Earl Brenner of Reno lying on the floor with life-threatening injuries. He died a short time later.

Deputies say 30-year-old Justin Fisher was also in the home. Detectives interviewed Fisher and have since arrested him on open murder charges.

He's being held in the Washoe County Jail without bail.

Deputies will only say Brenner died of "sharp force trauma."
