Firefighters are working hard to contain two large brushfires located north of Reno in Plumas County, California.
The first - the 780-acre Peak Fire started on Saturday afternoon about 15 miles northeast of Portola.
Fire crews say no structures or communities are threatened. It's 90% contained with full containment scheduled for Thursday.
Conklin Park Campground remains closed (at the time of this writing), although all highways, campgrounds and local businesses remain open. However, be advised that there is heavy fire vehicle traffic on Forest Roads 26N70 and 28N01 near the fire area.
Plumas National Forest representatives want to remind users campfires are not allowed outside developed recreation sites, and that you must get a campfire permit for using a camp stove outside of a developed site.
The cause remains under investigation.

And fire crews are also working to contain the Chips Fire about two miles northwest and upslope of Belden and Highway 70 between Chips Creek and Indian Creek.
This 1,000+ acre brushfire started early Sunday morning - and is only 10% contained with full containment expected on August 10th.
About 340 personnel, including 14 hand crews, six helicopters and six engines are fighting the blaze.
Four residences are threatened and structure protection is in place in the Maggies Maple Leaf area.
The Pacific Crest Trail is currently closed between Belden and Highway 36. The fire may be bypassed by hiking Highway 70 or catching a bus with Plumas Transit to Chester on weekdays only. Ben Lomond and Indian Creek trails are also closed. Neighboring businesses remain open.
Highway 70 remains open but people are advised to call CDOT for updates at 800-427-ROAD or go to www.dot.ca.gov for more information. Caribou Road from Highway 70 to the Butt Lake dam is expected to be closed today.
Gansner Bar and North Fork Campgrounds are closed (on Caribou Road), but Queen Lily is open for public camping.
Authorities say the fire is human-caused.
