Reno Police are looking for a couple of suspects in a robbery Saturday night.
Police say the two suspects walked into the Delight Food Mart on East 4th Street around 9:30 p.m. when one of them pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money.
The suspects got an undisclosed amount of money, took several other items from the store and ran off before they were confronted by a bystander outside the store.
Police say the bystander tried to chase and detain the suspects before they fired a gunshot into the ground, which stopped the pursuit. The bystander was not injured.
Police describe the first suspect as an unknown race man, about 6'0" with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a black-hooded sweatshirt, gloves and a mask.
The 2nd suspect is described as an unknown race woman, about 5'4" and 140 lbs. She was last seen wearing light-colored pants, a black sweatshirt with a white horizontal stripe going down the middle of it, along with a mask.
