A man was stabbed outside a Sparks nightclub early Sunday morning.
A Sparks Police officer was investigating an unrelated incident at the Rail City casino where he learned a stabbing had just happened right across the street, outside the Oasis Nightclub.
When the officer got there, he found a man with several stab wounds. An investigation revealed the victim was trying to stop a fight, when another man stabbed him repeatedly. He's hospitalized with serious injuries.
Police say the suspect is a Hispanic man in his late 20's to early 30's. He's around 6'0" and 230 lbs. with a military-style haircut. At the time of the stabbing, he was wearing a tight-fitting black shirt and dark blue jeans. He was seen leaving the area with another Hispanic man.
