The Seismic Challenge will take place July 21, 28 and 29 and is a great opportunity to design and build a structure and then test it on a shake table against the likes of California's Northridge and Japan's Kobe earthquakes. The catch... structures will be built using only toothpicks and gumdrops or balsa wood!

The Seismic Challenge is divided into four age groups and time brackets. Children can sign up individually and be paired with a partner, or in teams of two or more.
