You can meet with staff members for the Washoe County District Attorney's Office at the Sparks farmer's market Thursday.
Dick Gammick says his staff will be able to explain the variety of programs they offer to the community, including child abuse response and evaluations and the Sexual Assault Response Team. They also will be able to offer educational materials on a variety of topics including cyber bullying and the dangers of driving impaired.
The outreach event ends at 7pm.
If you can't make it, there will be another one August 16th.
The Whole Foods Hometowne Farmers Market is located on Sparks Victorian Square, across from John Ascuaga's Nugget - and in front of the Century Theatres through August 23rd. The market goes from 3pm-8pm.
