Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful will team up with Artown to put on a benefit where you can enjoy some local brews and music.
"Most of the money we take in comes from individual donors and corporations in the community so when we have an event like this the money just gets recycled back into our community through education and our schools," says KTMB Board Secretary Jennifer Fonda.
X-Fest 2012 will include beer from variety of local brewers including Silver Peak, Great Basin, BJ's and High Sierra, as well as local bands including the Whitney Meyer Band and Jelly Bread.
It will be from 4pm to 10pm Saturday at Harrah's Plaza in downtown Reno.
Tickets are $10 at the door and that includes a reusable mug and three taster tickets.
All the money will go toward Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful.
