For the fourth time this year northern Nevadans came together to support local businesses.
This month's ca$h mob was held at the Arlington Gardens Mall on Plumb Lane in Reno. It's where locals spend a small amount to support local businesses.
Tuesday's event was different because instead of a day-long mob it was just 11am to 1pm to encourage more people to concentrate throughout the mall.
The ca$h mobs are organized through social media - and businesses that got a boost today say spending locally helps keep money in northern Nevada.
"I really believe that money spent in a local business stays in your community because everyone who works in a local business it's a local person, it's not like the marketing is sent out of town or the payroll its sent out of town, it's all here," says Mary Marshall of Healing Wisdom.
Ca$h Mob organizers say their Facebook page has been grown significantly since their first mob in April.
