The Regional Transportation Commission will discuss its plans for Plumas Street during a public meeting Tuesday night.
RTC wants your thoughts on how to improve safety on Plumas Street between Plumb and Moana Lanes.
Project managers want to have one lane in each direction - and a center turn lane.
They hope this adjustment would slow traffic and reduce the number of accidents.
RTC also wants to make room for more parking and bike lanes.
Tomorrow night's meeting starts at 6:00pm at Anderson Elementary School located at 1055 Berrum Lane.
A presentation starts at 6:30pm.
Then on Wednesday, RTC will host an open house public workshop concerning the Mill Street-Terminal Way corridor study.
It's scheduled for 4pm-7pm at the National Automobile Museum at 10 South Lake Street.
The project boundaries extend from Lake Street to Terminal Way to Plumb Lane. With community input, the RTC study team has developed proposed transportation alternatives for road improvements, pedestrians, bicyclists and transit users.
After attendees have shared their comments, they are welcome to tour the museum for free.
