The dog days of summer will be over before we know it, and the Salvation Army of Carson City is getting ready to host a back-to-school supply drive for students who need a little help in the Carson City area.
Starting Monday through August 6th, the Salvation Army will be gathering basic supplies like pencils, pens, paper, crayons, rulers, calculators and backpacks.
Here's a list of Carson City drop-off locations:
· Salvation Army--661 Colorado Street
· Bank of America--947 Topsy Lane
· Grandma Hattie's Restaurant--2811 South Carson Street
· Les Schwab Tire Center--3020 South Carson Street and 3219 North Carson Street
· Greater Nevada Credit Unions--451 Eagle Station Lane and 4131 North Carson Street
When the drive ends in three weeks, the supplies will be handed out to pre-qualified families, just in time for the new school year.
