Industrial Worker Injured in Stead

A man was injured at ThyssenKrupp on Mount Bismark Street in Stead on Friday night.

Reno Fire Chief Todd Keckley says the 22-year-old worker was caught in the rollers of a machine around 10pm Friday. Fellow employees and firefighters pulled the man out and he was taken to the hospital.

Keckley says the man is in serious condition and he went into surgery.

The Occupational Safety & Health Administration will take over the investigation into how the accident happened.
