California Governor Jerry Brown has called in more firefighters and the California National Guard to help battle a Placer County wildfire.
The Robbers Fire began burning Wednesday afternoon in a steep canyon between the towns of Colfax and Foresthill.
Brown said Friday that he is sending in a state incident management team to help coordinate the attack on the fire, which has grown to 2,250 acres and is currently 20 percent contained.
Cal Fire says one home and three outbuildings have been destroyed, while 170 homes remain threatened. 11 people were also injured, but the extent of their injuries have not been released at this time.
Nearly 2,000 firefighters are battling this blaze right now.
Evacuations remain in effect for homes off Yankee Jims Canyon & Shirttail Canyon area, as well as Iowa Hill.
The American Red Cross has established an evacuation shelter at the Foresthill Veterans Hall.
There's no official word on how this fire started.
Farther north, the Mill Fire had burned more than 36 square miles in Mendocino National Forest and destroyed five outbuildings. Three people were injured, and the wildfire was 45% contained. Full containment is expected July 20th. That cause is under investigation.
In Shasta-Trinity National Forest, the Flat Fire was burning about 30 miles west of Weaverville and had scorched more than a square mile.
Fifty structures remain threatened.
