The Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows got a big donation from local car dealers on Wednesday.

The Dolan Automotive Group presented the Boys and Girls Club of the Truckee Meadows with a $20,000 check.

The money will be used to pay for summer camp programs that help children learn everything from academics to dancing and sports.

"Summer is a very difficult time for our kids. We kindof believe kids are always going to make choices and if they don't have good ones they make bad ones so we really think this money's going to go a long way," says Mike Wurm.

The donation should help almost 1,000 children.
