A new 99-cents store is holding its grand opening Thursday and it's offering a killer deal to those willing to wait in line.
Tomorrow the 99 Cents Only Store on south Virginia Street is selling 22-inch flat screen TV's to the first nine people in line! (We earlier incorrectly reported 200-300 people - and apologize for the error.)
one man took sitting in line to an extreme - he actually started waiting more than 24 hours before the grand opening!
"I got here last night just to... I was thinking other people were here I guess it was just me," says Edward Martindale.
But that soon changed with at least two more people lining up after him.
Martindale says he's glad to have a 99-Cents Store in town, because it always helps to save money since he's going to college.
A ribbon cutting is set for 7:45 and the store should be open by 8 am.
