Afternoon Fire Destroys 3 Cars in Reno

The Reno Fire Department is investigating a fire that destroyed three cars Wednesday afternoon.

The fire broke out just before 1:30 in the 1100 block of Gentry Way.

Witnesses say they heard a boom, then saw one of the cars on fire.

There were some mobile homes nearby - but none of them were damaged.

Firefighters say they still aren't sure what sparked the blaze.
