Reno Police Identify 395 Shooting Victim

Reno police have identified the woman killed in Monday's shooting on Highway 395 near the Stead exit.

Now that police have notified family members, we can say that 32-year-old Korinda Rodriguez died after CPR was performed between the Stead and Lemmon Valley exits around 2:30am.

Police say her husband 29-year-old Jeffrey Rodriguez shot her and at witnesses who stopped at the accident scene. Police arrested him after returning to the accident scene.

Rodriguez is being held without bail at the Washoe County Jail. He's charged with one count of open murder, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, and two counts of an ex-felon in possession of a firearm.
