Moana Springs Demolition Event Today

Reno Mayor Bob Cashell and the Reno City Council will kick off demolition work at Moana Stadium today. Events will include activities for kids along with local food trucks. The Reno Police and Fire departments will also be on hand.

The event will take place today from 4:00pm to 5:30pm at the site of the future Moana Springs Aquatic Center at 240 West Moana Lane. Demolition will begin at 5:05pm.

The Moana site will be transformed into a multi-use community center featuring soccer fields, baseball fields, a modern aquatics facility and other features that will benefit the community.
