The State of Nevada Bureau of Water Quality has approved the Topaz Ranch Estates General Improvement District (TRE GID) water system to return to a normal status. The TRE GID has met all of the requirements for safe drinking water.
All of the previous restrictions have been lifted at this time, and the water system is fully operational.
The TRE GID will continue monitoring the water system throughout the coming days.
The Reverse 9-1-1 System was used to notify TRE residents, and area reader boards provided by the Nevada Department of Transportation have been updated to reflect the updated status.
Douglas County Emergency Management Director Chief Todd Carlini and the members of the Topaz Ranch Estates General Improvement District (TRE GID) appreciate the cooperation of the residents of Topaz Ranch Estates during this difficult event.
