Reno Police are looking for a driver in a hit and run Saturday night.
Police say it happened near the intersection of North McCarran Boulevard and Northtowne Lane.
Police say a man on a moped motorcycle was traveling westbound in a bike lane on McCarran when a silver or gray mid-sized SUV struck the moped.
Police say the rider and his cycle remained attached to the SUV for several hundred feet before finally separating.
Police say the driver of the SUV made no attempt to stop and help the moped rider or call for authorities. It was last seen driving off westbound on McCarran towards US 395.
The moped rider was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police say the suspect vehicle has front-end damage from the collision.
