Food Bank to Hold 'Making Hunger History' Concert

Ruthie Foster Making Hunger History will be held Friday at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch at 7:15 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $20 for general admission seats and $15 for general admission lawn tickets and are on sale now. 

Tickets can be purchased at fbnn.org, at Recycled Records or at Maytan Music. 

This year, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is celebrating the summer with Grammy nominated and Contemporary Female Blues Artist of the Year, Ruthie Foster.

100% of the proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. 

The event is generously supported by Event Services, Inc., KTHX - The X, Washoe County Parks & Open Space, Studio 33, KTVN Channel 2, and Reno News & Review.

Channel 2's John Potter will emcee the event.
