Mark Nemeth
The Dept. of Corrections says an inmate who walked away from a Tonopah conversation camp was arrested on Monday.
They say Mark Nemeth walked away from the Tonopah Conservation Camp early Saturday morning. Nemeth was last seen around 4 a.m. at the minimum custody facility. He was discovered missing at 5 a.m.
Details of his arrest were not released, but the Department of Corrections says Nemeth was booked into the Esmeralda County Jail on a Department of Corrections Retake Warrant - and on new charges including possession of a stolen vehicle from Nye County; failure to yield; speeding, doing 90 in a 25 mph zone and damage to a stolen vehicle.
Nemeth was serving a 24-60 month sentence for attempted burglary, a concurrent 24-60 month sentence for grand larceny and a concurrent 12-96 month sentence for attempt to establish or possess a financial forgery laboratory.
