4.2 Earthquake 16 Miles From Reno

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 4.2 magnitude earthquake 16 miles away from Reno.

The agency says it hit around 8:50pm Friday with several aftershocks that followed.

The U.S.G.S. website indicates the quake centered between Reno and Truckee, California - and six miles away from Incline Village.

So far, no major damage or injuries have been reported.
