The Lyon County Sheriff's Office has two people behind bars after a report of shots fired in the Moundhouse area Tuesday night.

Deputies responded to Martin Drive around 9:30 p.m. They learned a couple was involved in a domestic dispute.

They say when the man tried to leave the home, the woman picked up a handgun a started shooting. The man was not injured.

After searching the home on a warrant, deputies say they found two handguns and a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies later arrested Darryl Bea and Michelle Hoffman on firearm and drug charges.

Bea is a convicted felon and is, of course, not allowed to possess a firearm. He also faces a pending domestic battery charge.
