Reno police are warning everyone about an increase in Honda car thefts in the last month.
Since May 18th, more than 20 Hondas have been reported stolen around Reno.
Police say mostly 1990 to early 2000 models are being targeted.
And police say many of them are being stolen for the items inside then dumped after the crime.
So, they're reminding everyone to be extra careful.
- Don't leave your valuables visible in the car
- Buy an alarm or steering wheel lock
- Try to park in safe places where your car is visible
