Reno Man Dies from Injuries Five Days after Crash

A Reno man who was hit by a car near Meadowood Mall last week has died from his injuries.

Reno Police say 63-year-old John Bell was hit in the southbound lanes of South Virginia Street near Crummer Lane on Wednesday, June 13th around 11 p.m. Bell was not in a crosswalk and he was wearing dark clothing when the accident happened.

He died at Renown Regional Medical Center five days later.

The driver was a 64-year-old woman from Reno. She was not hurt in the accident and police say alcohol and drugs are not factors.
