HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) -- Michelle Obama is traveling to Nevada to cheer on campaign volunteers helping to re-elect her husband.
The first lady is scheduled to arrive in Nevada Tuesday afternoon and address volunteers at the Henderson Convention Center.
Organizers for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign say the first lady will encourage supporters to vote and volunteer.
Supporters were offered free tickets to the event.
Nevada is one of a few swing states that could determine the November presidential election. The state is divided between Republican and Democratic voters. Nevada elected Bill Clinton in 1996 and George W. Bush twice. Obama won Nevada in 2008.
Michelle Obama visited Las Vegas in early May. She also brought her daughters to Las Vegas for a family vacation in March.
