Brush And Structure Fires In Sun Valley Contained

Firefighters were busy working on a brush and structure fires in the Sun Valley area Sunday afternoon.

Fire officials say a brush fire started around 3:15 p.m. near the 5000 block of Chocolate Drive at the base of Red Hill. They say it then started spreading toward homes.

Fire crews say two homes were completely destroyed. One woman has a burn injury to her arm.

Officials say crews have the area contained at this time.

The cause is under investigation.
