If you have plans to go to Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe - keep in mind walk-ins will no longer be allowed there, starting this weekend.
Park officials say many try to avoid paying the fee to drive into the park.
But often, the available parking spaces fill up creating a dangerous situation with cars parked along Highway 28.
Starting Saturday, anyone caught parking on the highway could end up with a $115 ticket.
To avoid that, you can park at the old Incline Village Elementary School about five miles away.
For $3 a person, you can get a round trip ticket to and from Sand Harbor between 9am and 6pm.
