Firefighters say a lightning-sparked wildfire burning south of Silver Springs is now fully contained.
Sierra Front Interagency Center says the 3,871-acre Weeks Fire broke out around 8pm Thursday east of Highway 95A, near Wabuska.
The agency says no structures were threatened. The Nevada Highway Patrol says no area roads were closed.
More than 100 firefighters from Lyon County, the U.S. Forest Service and Nevada Division of Forestry all battled the blaze - along with three engines, one dozer, two air tankers, two helicopters and four hand crews.
