Polls are now closed in Nevada's primary election. We'll start airing race results as soon as they come in.

Nevada's secretary of state said many counties reported about 20% turnout earlier in the day.

Nevada voters picked U.S. House and Senate candidates and weighed in on state Senate, Assembly, board of education, regents and numerous local races.

Democrats hold a slim 11-10 majority in the state Senate and the GOP hopes a few key races will tip the balance in their favor. Democrats also control the Assembly.

In Laughlin, a longtime push toward incorporation is on the ballot.
