The lead prosecutor in Jerry Sandusky's child sexual abuse trial is describing the former Penn State assistant football coach as a "predatory pedophile.
Senior Deputy Attorney General Joseph McGettigan outlined the allegations, which led to the ouster of longtime football coach Joe Paterno. He says Sandusky took advantage of boys with unstable home lives and abused them for years.
The prosecutor showed pictures of the alleged victims to jurors during opening statements, while Sandusky sat quietly at the defense table.
Some of the allegations read aloud by McGettigan were graphic. At one point, the prosecutor said Sandusky put his hand down one boy's shirt and down his pants.
Sandusky maintains his innocence. He's facing 52 criminal counts of sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period. (AP)
