Investigators hunting for a 20th Century Fox executive have searched a home in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles but authorities won't say whether they found any clue to his disappearance.
Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says a search warrant was served on a Chatsworth-area home at around 7:30 a.m. Friday.
Whitmore says investigators were led to believe there might be information that could lead them to the whereabouts of Gavin Smith. He says the search is completed but details aren't being released.
Smith, a former UCLA basketball player, was last seen on May 1 in Ventura County after leaving a friend's home.
Whitmore says there's no indication that Smith met with foul play.
His family, which live in Reno, have posted a $20,000 reward for information. (AP)
