Code Yellow Lockdown Lifted at Sparks High School

Police say a tip about a reported suspect at a Sparks apartment complex led them to lock down nearby Sparks High School.

As a result, authorities placed the school on a precautionary code yellow lockdown.

Authorities closed off I Street between 10th and Pyramid Way as police searched for the reported suspect.

School police also patrolled areas around Robert Mitchell Elementary and Sparks High School areas as a precaution.
