There's a big construction project in store for Moana Lane and your input is needed during a meeting Thursday, May 31st.
It's called the "Diverging Diamond Interchange" and it's planned for Moana and U.S. 395. Project managers want to reconstruct the interchange to increase traffic flow and improve safety. NDOT is hosting a meeting Thursday to bring everyone up to speed on the project and get public feedback.
The meeting starts at 4 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m. at the Neil Road Recreation Center at 3925 Neil Road in Reno.
The "Diverging Diamond Interchange" is the first of its kind in the entire state of Nevada.
Construction is set to begin in September.
