Reno Police are looking for a shooting suspect after a fight Wednesday afternoon.

Police say it happened around 4 p.m. on Linden Street between Yori Avenue and Wrondel Way.

When police arrived on scene, they learned two people were arguing and it escalated when one person who was not part of the fight pulled out a gun and shot the victim in the leg.

The victim was taken to the hospital by a friend to get treated for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was seen walking down Linden Street after the incident. He's described as a black man, between 30 to 40-years old with short hair. He's between 5'11" and 6'2", 220-240 lbs. He was last seen wearing a red and white checkered shirt and blue jeans.

Police say detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the shooting. If you have information, you're being asked to call Reno Police at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900. You can also text your tip to 847-411.
