RTC is holding a public meeting Thursday night to discuss and provide input on proposed safety improvements to Plumas Street.
Some of the proposed improvements include reducing lanes to one direction each way, implementing a middle turn lane, and adding bike lanes.
The Regional Transportation Commission says the project is expected to reduce crashes by 30%, improve safety, access and connectivity for all modes of transportation.
The meeting will be held at Anderson Elementary School at 1055 Berrum Lane from 6pm-7:30pm. A presentation about the project will begin at 6:30pm.
RTC staff will be on hand to answer questions.
