If 300 days of special events isn't enough for you, don't worry, the Reno Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority announced seven additional summer events are headed our way.
President and CEO of RenoTahoe USA Chris Baum said everybody wants to bring their events here because Northern Nevada has so much to offer geographically.
"We have such an incredible variety of everything from the lake to the Sparks Marina to downtown Reno. No matter what kind of event you have or what kind of crowd you want to accommodate, we got a place to put you and we've done it before."
So here's what you can look forward to this year.
This summer, Sparks will hold an Xtreme Beach Sports Festival, where the EVP Volleyball Tour and the UWP Watercross Tour will combine for the first time on the west coast.
July 1 - 8, the Reno-Tahoe Motorplex will feature the Fireworks 500. That will be the longest desert, off road race in the United States. It's 500 miles of thrilling action.
If music and arts are your thing, the San Francisco Symphony will take center stage along with other live bands at the Lake Tahoe Summerfest on north shore.
"If you're into yoga, if you're into pushing your body to the maximum endurance, or just into motorsports, we've got it all on top of what we already have every year here during the events season."
