From breakfast in bed, to flowers, to just spending quality time, families across the nation celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday.
Local flower shops have seen a lot of business for mom's special day, including the Florist At Moana inside the Moana Nursery.
"Business is booming as usual," said Shantel Smittle, a designer at the Florist At Moana. "All the moms are getting their beautiful flowers. So, we're popping."
And, that's because of some of the last minute shoppers.
"Family's at church," said Eric Katich of Reno. "Kind of left a little bit early to grab some flowers really quick."
Others took their mommies to see the mummies at the King Tut exhibit at the Wilbur D. May Museum at Rancho San Rafael Park.
"We've had over 300 people come in today and 120 of them have been mothers," said James Marks, a museum volunteer.
Moms got in for free this weekend and those we talked to, like Brittney Young of Reno, said it was a great way to spend the day.
"Once I heard that the King Tut exhibit was in town, I thought, 'you know, why not?' So, I brought my mother with me, also my little one. So, it's a great way to spend Mother's Day."
"The replicas and the movie was very informative and it's been an interesting thing to think about," said Kathy Patterson of Reno.
No matter how you celebrated Sunday, it's an important day for a lot of people.
"It's just all about her to show that we love her and we really care for her," Katich said.
