RENO, Nev.—A Cole Gillespie home run sparked a five-run Reno fourth inning and lifted the Aces to a 13-10 victory and a series sweep over the Tacoma Rainiers Monday afternoon at Aces Ballpark.

With the Aces down a run, Reno sent 11 men to the plate in the fourth and pushed across five runs to take a 7-3 lead. Tacoma battled back to tie the score in the sixth, but Reno regained the lead for good in the home half of the frame.

Jason Lane (2-0) earned the win out of the Aces bullpen, despite surrendering two runs on two hits in 0.1 innings of work in relief of starter Joe Martinez. After Lane's exit, Sam Demel came on to strand three inherited runners in the seventh and then worked a scoreless eighth. Joe Paterson recorded the final three outs in the ninth.

The loss fell to Tacoma's Cesar Jimenez (0-1), who allowed three runs on just one hit with three walks in one inning of relief.

At the plate for Reno, Randy Ruiz pushed his hitting streak to 17 games, while Gillespie and Jake Elmore drove in three runs apiece. Rusty Ryal hit his first home run of the season, and Mike Jacobs singled twice in his Aces debut.

Reno now hits the road for eight-straight games, beginning with a four-game set at AutoZone Park in Memphis. In Tuesday's opener, RHP Charles Brewer (1-2, 4.80 ERA) takes on Memphis' RHP Brian Broderick (1-4, 5.90 ERA). First pitch is set for 5:05 p.m. PT,
