A teenager suspected of murdering his West Wendover classmate in March of last year is expected to plead guilty next week.
The Associated Press reports Kody Patten plans to enter his plea Wednesday in Elko in connection with the killing of Micaela "Mickey" Constanzo.
Patten and former girlfriend Toni Fratto were accused of hitting Costanzo with a shovel and slitting her throat before burying her in a remote area near the Utah-Nevada border.
Toni Fratto pleaded guilty to second-degree murder with a deadly weapon and was sentenced in April to up to life in prison.
Patten was set to go to trial in July.
