Forum to Discuss Nevada Mining Accountability

You can weigh in on the impact of mining in the Silver State tonight at a forum being held in Reno.

The Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada is holding a forum on mining accountability from 5:30pm to 7 pm at the Hyatt Place Reno-Tahoe Airport at 1790 Plumb Lane.

They'll discuss the effect that mining has had on the environment and economy of Nevada.

It is free and open to the public.

Former state archivist Guy Rocha will be among the panelists along with representatives from the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony and mining company Renaissance Gold.
