Bighorns Fall to Dakota Wizards Friday Night

RENO, NEV.— The Reno Bighorns fell decisively to the Dakota Wizards Friday night at the Reno Events Center. Andre Emmett had 21 points, six rebounds and six assists and Blake Ahearn scored 24 points in the 130-114 blowout loss. The Wizards used a balanced attack on the night, with seven players scoring in double figures, led by Stefhon Hannah's 29 points and seven assists.

The Wizards were red hot from beyond the arc, shooting 60.9 (14-of-23) percent on three-pointers. Hannah scored 21 of his points on 7-of-12 shooting from behind the three-point line. Ahearn was 4-of-7 on three-pointers.

The Bighorns led 68-64 at halftime but were outscored 36-19 in the third quarter, when the Wizards hit the majority of their three-point shots. The Wizards had 25 second-chance points off of 13 offensive rebounds and outrebounded the Bighorns overall 43-31.

The Bighorns and Wizards tip off again Saturday night at the Reno Events Center at 7 p.m. The first 1,500 fans in the arena will receive a free Reno Bighorns Jeremy Lin jersey. Doors open at 6 p.m.
