Nevada Falls to U.C. Irvine 6-1 Friday

RENO, Nev. – RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada baseball team dropped the second game of a three-game series to UC Irvine 6-1 Nevada fell to 10-7 on the season, while UC Irvine improved to 10-8.

The Anteaters got their first two runs in the fourth inning, which went unanswered until a solo homerun by Carlos Escobar Jr. in the fifth, which would, be the only run scored by the Wolf Pack.

Tyler Wells suffered his second loss of the season after hitting two consecutive batters in the sixth, loading the bases, which would bring in four more runs.

The Wolf Pack and Anteaters will close out the series tomorrow at noon. Tickets are free for the Give Back Like Jack weekend.
