The Reno Aces Baseball Club now is seeking candidates to serve as an on-field emcee for all 72 games at Aces Ballpark this season.
The winning applicant will be employed by the Aces for the duration of the 2012 season, joining popular emcee Austin on the field and among the fans. The emcee duo will be on the microphone throughout every game, leading between-inning promotions and encouraging an enthusiastic, fun, family-friendly atmosphere at Aces Ballpark.
Qualified candidates will be energetic, well-spoken and passionate about the Aces. Applicants must be able to commit to working all 72 games, plus any special events that arise throughout the course of the season.
To apply, candidates must submit a résumé and the link to a personal Youtube video, which explains why the candidate loves the Aces and is the perfect person to join the team. Videos, which must be two minutes or less, will be judged on creativity, professionalism and the ability to provoke an energetic, fun and family-friendly atmosphere. Applications should be emailed to info@renoaces.com and must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 2.
Semifinalists will be interviewed by the Aces front office on March 6-7. Finalists will be interviewed live on The Morning Moo Crew on K-BULL 98.1 on Thursday, March 9, and the winning candidate will be announced live on K-BULL on March 12.
