Ted Brightman was born and raised in Bothell, Washington, where he was a much better fan than athlete.
After graduating from Western Washington University with a Communications degree in 1998, he landed a job with ABC's College Football traveling to Michigan, Penn State and the Meadowlands.
He then moved back to Eugene, Oregon and worked as a producer at KVAL-TV before settling back home in Bellingham, Washington as an anchor/reporter with KVOS-TV.
Favorite moments working in sports include watching the late Joe Paterno blow out his birthday candles at a party at his house and covering Washington native Luke Ridnour's basketball career.
He spends his free time snowboarding at Kirkwood or at the gym.
