A new restaurant has opened its doors inside the Grand Sierra Resort.
Cantina is a Mexican restaurant that features 115 different types of tequila along with an authentic Mexican menu that includes the "Papa Grande." That's a giant potato stuffed with a number of ingredients and something the restaurant claims is a challenge to finish.
Cantina's general manager says the new restaurant is just part of the many renovations at the GSR.
"This place is the happening place. There are lots of changes going on right now and it's going to be one of the best places in town. I'm very sure about it," Anil Kumar says.
The hotel casino is in the middle of $25 million in renovations that include a new country bar along with several other revamped bars and improvements to the lobby. They'll also make some changes to the hotel rooms.
