Grand Sierra Resort representatives say the casino property is currently undergoing a $25 million interior renovation.
They say the new décor will have a more contemporary look with colorful finishes and fixtures.
Hotel entrance and front desk renovations will be completed by mid-March. A multi-dimensional art installation with five 60" high-definition video screens will greet guests to the registration area.
Summit level hotel suites will be renovated first - by this May, then floors 1-16 will be remodeled by early summer.
The lounge 2500 East Second will also take on a new name and look; it's scheduled to open later this month.
